How much does an adoption cost? The average cost of an adoption is $30,000 maybe even up to $50,000 and is billion dollar business. The price of a newborn baby runs to tens of thousands. covering the costs of agencies, legal fees, and covering the costs of the mother.  Louis Theroux meets a family paying out huge amounts of money in the hope to adopt.
