Adoption Truth and Transparency

Introducing a new global hub for human rights advocacy for families separated by adoption inspired by the book Adoptionland: From Orphans to Activists. Collectively, we shed light on the hidden side of adoption.

The purpose of Adoption Truth and Transparency is to monitor, find resources, scrutinize, investigate, critique adoption policies and procedures, raise awareness, and share diverse adoption experiences from around the world. We offer a truer perspective of the adoption process given from those who have lived it (as opposed to the one-sided narratives promoted by agency marketing campaigns).

Adoption Truth and Transparency was created to give folks and family members, who have been separated and/or exploited by adoption profiteers and adoption trafficking, a place to share their stories.

This group is also to reconnect the mothers, fathers, siblings, grandparents of adoption loss to adopted people who have been separated from their family, roots, and origins, to come together and learn about each other and build a worldwide network.

Your voice matters. Let your voice be heard. TOGETHER we are strong.
